Quote of the Week
"The blessed lord said:  Both renunciation and the Yoga of action lead to the supreme good.  But of the two, the Yoga of action is superior to the renunciation of action."
Bhagavad-Gita 5.2

Commentary:   All paths lead to God, period, yet because all paths require action, the path called "Yoga of action" is superior to the path called "Renunciation of Action".  The yoga of action means taking action to attain union (yoga) with God, or acting in union with God.  The Renunciation of action, on the other hand, is the understanding that union is already inherent (for God is one) thus no further action is needed, one has simply to realize what already is.  Click here for a previous commentary on this verse.
