Quote of the Week
"Do your allotted duty Action is indeed superior to inaction. Even the survival of your body would not be possible without action."
Bhagavad-Gita 3.8
Commentary: Arjuna began the conversation by asking Krishna to tell him decisively which is better: knowledge or action. Krishna responded decisively in favor of action, saying further that "no one can survive even for an instant without action, since everyone is helplessly driven to activity by the Laws of Nature." The message is that we cannot fail to act, we can only choose what kind of action to take, and there are only two paths in this physical world: the path of knowledge for those who enjoy the subtle action of contemplation and the path of action is for those who enjoy quick decisive action.
