This first meeting will cover the Preface and Introduction to the Text and Workbook, and set an intention to commit to a daily practice of the Workbook lessons for the coming year. We will also offer some tools to facilitate our practice (CDs, journal writing, online resources, etc). Our weekly meetings will provide an opportunity to BE together in silence, i.e. group meditation, answer questions from the previous week's Workbook lessons, and optionally, to share experiences. New students welcomed; no experience necessary.
Some of the questions we will address are:
- What is the goal of ACIM
- What is a miracle?
- What is a miracle worker?

Meditation is the most effective means for significant beneficial change in our lives and in the world, simply because it facilitates access to the deeper layers of our true Self--the source of our being. And since practicing in groups significantly increases the effects, please take advantage of this opportunity to dive deeper and marinate longer in the blissful silence of meditation.
The day will consist mostly of sitting meditation punctuated by:
walking meditation, relaxation, sound meditation, pranayama, gentle asanas,
Satsang, and a light vegan Soup-du-jour.

We happily invite you to start 2019 with some measure of clarity and intention. Come join your like minded friends and together warmly greet the coming New Year in stillness and peace, together! We will commemorate the end of 2018 and the start of 2019 with a Potluck/Reflection/Intention gathering followed by a Group Meditation from 11:15 pm (2018) -- 12:45 am (2019). The potluck will start around 8:00pm; feel free to bring a little of whatever you enjoy or which to share. Even if you cannot make the Potluck, please join us in spirit for the meditation starting at 11:30 pm (2018).
We have a variety of comfortable meditation tools- zafus, zabutons, cozy blankets and cushions but you are always welcome to bring whatever suits your needs. Begin 2019 in stillness and set a precedent of peace for the rest of the year!
