Vishnu's Couch Yoga Studio presents
Group Meditation and Satsang Retreat
Sunday, June 24th
from 1:00pm - 6:00pm.
at
61 Prospect Ave. 4th Floor
Binghamton, NY 13901

Meditation is the most effective means for significant beneficial change in our lives and in the world, simply because it facilitates access to the deeper layers of our true Self--the source of our being.  And since practicing in groups significantly increases the effects, please take advantage of this opportunity to dive deeper and marinate longer in the blissful silence of meditation.

The day will consist mostly of sitting meditation punctuated by:
walking meditation, relaxation, sound meditation, pranayama, gentle asanas, Satsang, and a light vegan Soup-du-jour.

Join-in at any time;
stay for as long as you would like and
invite your friends along; the more the merrier!

Donations Welcomed

First Congregational Church presents
Internal Intimacy
facilitated by
Rick Gridley
Saturday, June 23 from 3:00-5:00pm
at
30 Main Street, Binghamton
Cost:  $25 in advance, $40 at the door

What would happen if you practiced bringing something new or different into your attention?
The results may surprise you. Very likely, you would experience a peace or pleasure you hadn't expected.

With these three simple workshop exercises:  one auditory, one visual, and one kinesthetic,
your mind will be quieted and you will discover a new way to have deeper inner intimacy with yourself.

This workshop is for you if you are already happy, you are often pessimistic,
things are going well, you are feeling stuck or you are certain about anything.

Facilitator Rick Gridley has studied this terrain with spiritual entrepreneur Jerry Stocking
for the last 17 years and was a Presbyterian minister for six years before that.

Raja Yoga and Satsang

Raja Yoga is the royal yoga that brings the nature of our True Self to our awareness.  This awareness cannot be gained through perception or intellectual knowledge, it can only be known through cognition, like the knowledge that I am, that I exist, it needs no proof, but without this knowing, the experience remains limited and misunderstood.  Come join us as we explore our True Self through:
Silence, Meditation, Breathing, and gentle relaxing Postures.

at the Indian Cultural Center (ICC) building
1595 Route 26, Vestal NY

Sundays  8:30-10:00am
with Yogi Edmond

Drop-In Cost:  $15.00
or $40.00 / month
