World’s Biggest Eye Contact
Experiment 2017: Binghamton

September, 23rd from 2:00 - 4:00pm
at
61 Prospect Ave., Binghamton

Let's share a minute of eye contact with strangers to rebuild our sense of shared humanity here in Binghamton!  This is part of The World's Biggest Eye Contact Experiment 2017, a global event, coordinated by The Liberators International in cities all over the world. Your participation will help create a global video message for peace and human connection.

Remember that we are one and fundamentally united. Something magical happens during extended eye contact (also called soul gazing).  This moment arises when we forget that there’s a “you” and a “me” and we become immersed in an experience of unity.

You are invited to engage with and celebrate a global family, commonly unified by the desire to create more loving connection throughout humanity. We celebrate our unity and also the diversity of the human race in all its colorful expressions.

Allowing a person to gaze deeply into your being says ‘Yes, I receive you. I graciously receive the gift that is you.’  Everyone is worthy.  Everyone is a gift.   No matter your personal situation, you and every other human on this Earth are welcome and invited to participate in validating each other with heart-felt eye contact. 👁❤️

Vishnu's Couch Yoga Studio presents
Six-Hour Silent Meditation Retreat and Satsang
Sunday, September 24th
from Noon - 6:00pm.
at
61 Prospect Ave., Binghamton

Seeing that meditation is the most effective means for significant beneficial change in our lives and in the world, simply because it improves the functioning of our most important tool (the brain) and because it is the easiest to implement, we offer this opportunity to dive deeper and marinate longer in the blissful silence of meditation.

The day will consist mostly of sitting meditation punctuated by:
rest, relaxation, sound meditation, pranayama, gentle asanas, Satsang, walking meditation, and a light vegan Soup-du-jour.  The retreat goes from Noon to 6:00 pm.  Join in at any time and stay for as long as you would like.

Raja Yoga and Satsang

Raja Yoga is the royal yoga that brings the nature of our True Self to our awareness.  This awareness cannot be gained through perception or intellectual knowledge, it can only be known through cognition, like the knowledge that I am, that I exist, it needs no proof, but without this knowing, the experience remains limited and misunderstood.  Come join us as we explore our True Self through:
Silence, Meditation, Breathing, and gentle relaxing Postures.

THE JOY OF MOVEMENT: SENSING LIFE-FORCE

Join us as we focus on Principle One of the Nia White Belt,
taught by Nia Black Belt, Elaine Wolf of http://lifeforcesanctuary.com/nia/

Saturday, October 7 (1-4 pm)
at
61 Prospect Ave., Binghamton

Donation:  $40.00

We will sense life-force and learn how to shift that energy into Universal Joy where we feel peace, pleasure, and comfort.  Prepare to gain more awareness of energy moving through your body.  We begin by breathing together deeply to connect to self and create sacred space for healing and growing.  We move together to sense the Universal Joy of Movement; pleasurable and comfortable sensations in the body.  We take time to reflect and share how we can apply the Joy of Movement principle to our relationship to self, others, our thoughts, and feelings.  Finally, we crystallize the meanings of the day by recognizing and expressing how the Joy of Movement touches our spirits.
